Presentation Guideline

NOMS2024 is primarily an on-site event, and we do not accommodate remote attendance or presentations. It is mandatory for all papers to be presented in person.

Technical Session (TS) and Mini-Conference Session (MC)

  • The session duration is 1.5 hours and 4 papers (3 papers in TS12 and TS13, 5 papers in MC5) will be presented during this time.
  • Approximately 22 minutes (30 minutes in TS12 and TS13, 20 minutes in MC4) are allocated for each paper presentation. This includes the presentation itself and any subsequent Q&A.
  • Each paper presentation should be strictly limited to a specific time frame to ensure fairness and adherence to the schedule.
  • Speakers  should prepare their presentation materials before the sessions.
  • Speakers should be prepared to deliver a concise and focused presentation within the given time frame.
  • The papers of TS and MC sessions will be published in the IEEE Xplore, only if they are presented in their corresponding sessions in person.

Poster Session (PS)

  • The Presenters should prepare their posters and other materials before the poster sessions.
  • The available space of each poster is 900mm (W) and 1200mm (H), and each poster presenter can freely use this space. It is recommended to prepare A0 size (840mm x 1190mm) poster.
  • Poster presenters are required to prepare, carry, and mount their posters by themselves. Mounting tape will be provided.
  • Your poster must be mounted 5 minutes prior to the start of the poster session.
  • Poster presenters are required to stand in front of their posters during the poster session for presenting and Q&A.
  • Poster chairs will check the attendance of poster presenters according to the publication policy. Short papers of poster sessions will be published in the proceedings and IEEE Xplore. If posters are not presented, related short papers will not be published.
  • Poster presenters must remove their posters after each poster session. The posters which still stay on poster boards over 15 minutes after the session schedule will be removed and discarded by our staff.
